BHGRE METRO BROKERS PARTICIPATES IN HABITAT BUILD

A large group of agents went out this past weekend to participate in the Atlanta Board of Realtors® Habitat for Humanity build. Our official build day was last Saturday from 8am to 4pm, and the volunteers who assisted did a great job!

The build took place in an established neighborhood near Moreland Ave. in Atlanta. When the agents arrived that morning, only the basic framing of the home was complete, but they quickly got to work on the house.

Over the course of the day, the walls, windows and roof went up on the home, and agents even began on the siding. On the interior, all of the insulation and framing went up, and it is now ready for electricians and plumbers before moving forward with drywall and painting.

Agents from several different offices came out to support the build. In addition to BHGRE Metro Brokers sales associates, there were a handful of seasoned Habitat volunteers that included builders and other members of the construction industry. Plus, Chick-Fil-A provided lunch to everyone participating in the build.

The build takes place each Saturday for seven consecutive weeks with a dedication to the family and house taking place on October 23rd.
